Nixon`s Deli in Knoxville

One of the best steamed sandwich delis in Knoxville. Come here expecting to have a mess by the time you're done, the sandwiches are crammed with way extra meat, which I see this as the more the better. Staff is over the top friendly and outgoing. I consider this a Subway just a lot better.

The food is delicious. Today however I stopped in for lunch. First time since COVID. I left because not one employee was wearing a mask! Really disappointed.

I'm on chemo and this is my go to sub place cause it's the only place I know of that I can get an extra hot n steamy sub wrapped in aluminum foil so by time you get home sandwich is extremely moist and easy to chew for those sensitive chemo mouth people.

This used to be a good place to get a sandwich, not anymore. They must be under new ownership. Sandwiches are cold, ingredients are substandard. Not a good place to eat anymore ☹️.

I absolutely love Nixon's! I am gluten free so I can't have the sandwiches. I always order the Tuna Salad Plate. You can add whatever garnishment you like, from their list, just as you would for a sandwich. The amount is enough to feed two people, so I always end up taking some home. The service is good, and the wait for the food isn't bad, considering they are making your food fresh to order. My husband loves their subs! Overall, a great place to eat!

Food was good. Service was awful. Young lady had to start order over and couldn’t get it right. Prrparer’s also contributed to order being completely wrong.

You really can’t go wrong with Nixon’s hot subs and the desserts are delicious 😋 🤤 The 2 twelve inch subs for 12$ is an amazing deal, I’ll get 2 meals out of this stuffed full steak sub 👌

Always have loved the food

Delicious sandwich made with some love and the young lady (tattooed with blue hair) who made it was awesome.

The location is clean, the prices are very reasonable, the staff is very friendly, and the food is delivered very quickly. Other reviews almost made me change my mind about coming here, but I decided to give them a chance and I do not regret it. The reuben I ordered was perfect, and their cookies made for the perfect dessert. If you're in between on whether or not to check them out, take my advice and give them a chance. I know I'll be coming back frequently.

We love Nixon's Deli. We love the steamed pumpernickel bread. The smoked Turkey is excellent. They are very generous with their meat on their sandwiches.

Always amazing sandwiches BUT their sides are the best part. Potato salad is just like mom made and the lemon cookies are the perfect final touch. Been coming here for years.

This location is not my favorite....staff is unfriendly and sandwiches are never made well or right. Went one Saturday and two of the women were complaining about working the next day. Not professional at all

Great deli thats been here a long time. I love the steak sandwhich with smoked cheddar. On weekends they have a deal if you buy 2 footlong sandwhiches. Nothing more than a sandwhich deli with chips drinks and a few premade deserts.

It was an okay experience, but I won’t go back nor would I recommend a friend. I ordered a 6 inch veggie sub and it took 30 minutes to make. There was only 1 person ahead of me in the store plus 1 takeout order. When I opened my sandwich it looked like someone sat on it, but it wasn’t offensive to the taste. I think I could have got something better at subway, but I wanted to try and support a local business.

Good food but not good service. They act like a truck stop. They only care about the regulars if there men.
